Robert is the newest member of David Reaney and Associates. He joined in April 2017, having qualified from the University of Dundee in 2014.

Following five years of undergraduate study, Robert continued his commitment to education and professional development by attending courses on severe tooth wear and cosmetic dentistry in Glasgow. From this, he has acquired both the technical skills and the professional knowledge needed to provide his patients with the highest standards of aesthetic treatment, including white fillings, veneers and tooth whitening.

Robert is a firm believer in retaining natural teeth over extraction or tooth replacement. His special interest in root canal treatment means that, where possible, he will recommend this tooth restoration process over extraction.

Robert’s primary focus is to combine education with minimally invasive dentistry, particularly with children. Indeed, he excels at paediatric dentistry and recently devoted six weeks to working in South America, providing free treatment and education to impoverished children.

Among Robert’s key strengths are his excellent communication skills and empathetic nature. These are of particular help when it comes to treating anxious and dentally phobic patients.
