Patient Satisfaction Survey March 2013

Dear Patient

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who completed a questionnaire as part of our recent Patient Satisfaction Survey.

The purpose of this Survey was to find out what you think of your Dental Practice and the service we provide. We strive to offer you the best possible service, so we were very keen to receive your feedback. The survey was conducted under three broad headings:

We received back one hundred completed questionnaires, the results of which can be viewed below.

Question about recommending the practice

Following our initial survey in November 2011

Below are the action plans which we put in place at that time which we are pleased to note, resulted in an increase in satisfaction scores across all three areas.

1. Reading Material

We have entered into an annual contract with a dedicated service provider, who will supply us with a broad range of up to date magazines on a monthly basis, across a broad range of popular subjects. This will enable us ensure that each waiting room is regularly refreshed with reading material.

2. Toys for Children

Whilst it is important that we try and keep both waiting rooms as free from clutter as possible, the survey made us recognise that we had no children’s play material available on the ground floor. We have now purchased a new play table for this waiting room.

3. Availability of Appointments

From the week commencing 12th March 2012, we have changed the working pattern of the Practice, to ensure there is a more even spread of dentists available on each day of the week.

Please be assured that we will continue to keep all areas of our service under regular review to ensure that we maintain the highest standards possible.
